Tiphaine is a multidisciplinary artist who specializes in painting and has a range of experience in large scale sculpture installation and murals. Her style is textured, colourful and surreal, investigating landscape through her metropolitan experience with fashion and live music culture. She creates painting compositions with these visual cues to contemplate the figure's experience in public space.
Tiphaine has a BFA degree from OCADU (2015). She taught art workshops in Toronto with several independent companies while showing her work in group exhibitions (2010-2017). Tiphaine obtained a BEd teacher's certification from UOttawa (2017-2019). She spent two years teaching high school arts in Peterborough, Ontario and hosted a biweekly concert series from her porch for two summers. Today Tiphaine resides in Montreal and continues to be engaged with her local arts community, working in scenic art, teaching and maintaining her studio practice.
